Dr. Christophe Paulussen LL.M. M.Phil. is a senior researcher at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut and coordinator of its research strand 'In the public interest: accountability of the state and the prosecution of crimes', coordinator of the inter-faculty research platform ‘International Humanitarian and Criminal Law Platform’ and associate fellow rule of law responses to terrorism at the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism – The Hague. Christophe is also editor-in-chief of the journal 'Security and Human Rights', member of the Executive Board of the Royal Netherlands Society of International Law, member of the Editorial Board of the 'Journal of Human Trafficking, Enslavement and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence' and member of the Board of Advisors to the Editorial Board of the 'Yearbook of International Humanitarian Law'. Finally, he is project leader of several projects at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut, including the International Crimes Database.

Drs. Julien Simon: having finished my studies of International and European law at the Radboud University of Nijmegen I lived and worked in various West-African countries for some ten years working in the area of ICT. During those years I was involved in training and capacity building, network development and integration and automation of work processes as well as the development and realisation of communication strategies in order to valorise scientific research. Returning to The Netherlands I started working for the T.M.C. Asser Instituut within the department of Information Technology and Information services. For many years I was able to contribute to the development of valorisation and communication strategies and the carrying out/management of numerous projects in that area. In 2006 I became a member of the Management Team responsible for Operations (including the ICT Department) and later on the Human Resources Department. Since its inception I was involved in the International Crimes Database Project. Over the years I was able to contribute to the development of the project and the acquisition of funds for this important project.

Ana-Maria Negrilă: Ana-Maria graduated from the University of Amsterdam with an LL.M in Public International Law. Her thesis examined the applicability of personal immunity before an international criminal tribunal for Russian aggression, inquiring into the current state of customary international law. Prior to this, she obtained two Bachelor’s degrees in Romanian and French Law, awarded by the University of Bucharest in partnership with the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. During her studies, she conducted research for various organisations and clinics, including the Criminal Justice Clinic of the University of Amsterdam, where she assisted the Dutch Public Prosecution Service with expertise in EU law. As a legal intern at the Asser Institute, Ana-Maria contributes to several projects and events, including the International Crimes Database and the MATRA-Ukraine Project.

Wouter Lemaire: having worked in both commercial and public organisations for almost 20 years in the ever developing area of ICT, notably web development, database management, architecture and interface programming, he joined the T.M.C. Asser Instituut in 2011 as an asp.net C# programmer/web developer. In the current project, he was responsible for functional and technical design, Database development, front- and back-end development and integration of third party products.
